ENCOUNTER WITH GENTOO PENGUINS
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE ...
We will depart from the city of Ushuaia heading towards National Route No. 3 to begin our journey. Along the way, we will enjoy stunning landscapes such as the Olivia River, the Tierra Mayor Valley, and the majestic Fuegian Andes Mountain Range.
Following a winding road surrounded by native lenga and ñire forests, we will reach the junction with Route J, where we will begin the next leg of our adventure. This scenic route runs alongside the Lasifashaj River, crossing mountains, peat bogs, and forests that invite you to take in the unspoiled beauty of the natural surroundings.
We will continue the journey until we reach our next stop: the picturesque village of Puerto Almanza.
From there, we will board a boat with a maximum capacity of 22 passengers and navigate the Beagle Channel until we reach Martillo Island. There, we will observe Gentoo penguins up close from the shore for approximately 30 minutes. Afterward, we will return to Puerto Almanza to recharge our energy. Following a beautiful day, we will begin our return to the city of Ushuaia.
