Snow adventure with huskies and snowmobile
Snow adventure with huskies and snowmobile
A beautiful experience where the conjunction between the different elements of nature converge to give the visitor the sensation of traveling and knowing the mysterious paths of the old woodcutters of the big island of Tierra del Fuego.
We prepare to live this new experience awaiting expectant in the hotel, the transportation, which will take us through the last kilometers of the mythical Pan-American Route (Route 3), northbound until we reach the winter center that is located in one of the valleys of Andes Mountains.
In this great snowy valley we arrive at the main refuge from where we began the sled journey pulled by dogs of the Husky breed (extroverted, gentle, faithful, intelligent and friendly breed). After crossing it we enter the forest through an old lumberjack path.
We say goodbye to the Huskies, who will rest after their work and it will be our turn to venture into the valley with a two-seater snowmobile ride, with prior instruction and helmet placement. 5 km of route through incredible landscapes, indicated by a guide who will lead the way. Once the objective is achieved, we start the return that culminates in the refuge, where we recover energy with hot chocolate and interesting talks about the experience we have lived. We return to the starting point and return to Ushuaia

The order of activities can be modified depending on snow conditions.
It is mandatory for people to be dressed appropriately and wear waterproof trekking boots or snow boots. They must be warmly dressed (we recommend dressing in layers: base layer, fleece or coat, gloves, hat) and have a waterproof jacket and pants. If they do not have the specified items, it will be at the guide’s final decision to determine if they are fit to participate in the excursion.
