Unique all-terrain adventure to enjoy incredible views of the Fuegian valleys and lakes Escondido and Fagnano
Get ready for a full and fun adventure, accessible for all ages willing to enjoy it to the fullest. It’s not every day you get the chance to board a 4×4 vehicle and uniquely explore the paths and landscapes of the southernmost forests, made up of lengas, ñires, and coihues.
In the morning, we’ll be picked up at our accommodation and head north of the island, following National Route 3, the only land exit from Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego to the continent. Along the way, we’ll pass through valleys ideal for snow activities in winter. In summer, the forest displays all shades of green, while in winter, the snow provides an unparalleled backdrop for our photos. After crossing the Andes Mountains via the emblematic Garibaldi Pass, our exciting 4×4 adventure will begin.
Our journey will take us through spectacular muddy roads, water, fallen trees, and exposed roots, until we reach the imposing coast of Lake Fagnano, one of the five largest lakes in South America and a major freshwater reservoir. After enjoying the unique energy of this place and capturing the best photos, we will resume our adventure and head into the forest until we reach Lake Escondido.
At our refuge, we will delight in a typical meal (asado) accompanied by a drink to liven up the moment of sharing with the whole group.
After lunch and some relaxing time, we will be ready to conclude this great experience in the southernmost regions. Satisfied from enjoying a memorable day, we will return to the city of Ushuaia, the same place where this wonderful adventure began.
ATTENTION: For safety reasons; during the winter season; the duration of the specific 4×4 activity will be subject to terrain conditions, which will be evaluated by the drivers.
