We invite you to live up to your dreams. Flying over the Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego by helicopter is a unique and different experience. Different options allow us to appreciate the beauties of the landscapes, from 7 minute flights to full day combined with other experiences.

City Tour: 7 minutes of flight

We depart from the old airport of Ushuaia USH – SAWO, there we make a brief safety talk (video). We take off in a westerly direction to appreciate the Beagle Channel from a unique and privileged perspective, with its many islands, and the Navarino island in the background. Turning progressively towards the East, you will enjoy the wonderful view of the city of Ushuaia and its natural environment, framed by the imposing mountain range of the Andes, the Martial Glacier, Mount Five Brothers, and the emblematic Mount Olivia. A postcard in front of your eyes.

But not everything is natural majesty: during the flight, you can see how the city of Ushuaia, the southernmost in the world, is inserted in this unique scenario dominated by the Fuegian Andes and the imposing Beagle Channel, sighting the downtown area with its characteristic buildings such as the Presidio and the important local port, the route of entry of numerous Continental cruises such as Antarctic. Finally, we return to the Ushuaia heliport.

Emerald Lagoon: 15 minutes of flight

The Emerald Lagoon is located 19 km from the city of Ushuaia. To access it by land you must cross the Lasifashaj Valley forest. We will fly over it avoiding a walk of more than 4 hours in just 15 minutes. Having the best views seen from a privileged angle.

Taking into account that Ushuaia is the only city in Patagonia that offers overflight experiences and getting on a helicopter is an experience in itself.

This expedition begins flying over the bay of Ushuaia, gaining height to enter the Olivia River Valley, appreciating the majestic Mount Olivia, and the characteristic Mount Five Brothers. Then you can see the magnificent Carbajal Valley, with its amazing composition of peat formed over thousands of years. The adventure continues through the valley and access to a second mountain range that houses an incredible water mirror called Emerald Lagoon, due to its extraordinary color. This jewel of nature is one of the most visited attractions. And on top of this is the Ojo del Albino Glacier that it feeds on. Finally, we return to the helipad from where we will return to the hotels.

Landing on the Andes : 30 minutes of flight

On this aerial excursion we will have the opportunity to contemplate the Beagle Channel and its archipelagos, the last foothills of the Andes Mountains and its sub-Antarctic forests of Lenga, Ñires and Coihues (Nothofagus) and the city of the last border of the earth: Ushuaia capital of the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.

We depart from the old airport of Ushuaia USH – SAWO. With a previous safety talk (video) we take off with the North heading helicopter flying over Ushuaia Bay (in Yagán Oshovia language which means “deep bay or bay in the background”), the port and the city to enter the Olivia River Valley, easily appreciating the imposing Mount Olivia and the peaks of Mount Five Brothers, then we can enjoy the extraordinary Carbajal Valley and the turbos that compose it. The overflight continues through a second mountain range that surprises us with an impressive lagoon, called due to its color, Emerald Lagoon. The trip continues to the south through the Andes Mountains and reaches the Encajonado River Valley, the Beagle Channel, and we land on top of the Andes Mountains. Once there we will descend to appreciate the spectacular magical environment and translate it into unforgettable memories. From there we can get unique photos because we will have the Beagle Channel and the Andes Mountains just in front of us, with the city of Ushuaia at our feet. Finally we return to the heliport where the certificate that has been flown over the End of the World is delivered to us.
